Jayne Apple earned her degree in accounting from Louisiana State University in 1979. She has always had a passion for working with numbers.
Her philosophy is to treat each client like a member of her family. She takes an active and responsive approach to solving challenges. Her strategies have been helping businesses save money and reach new levels of success for over forty years.
Jayne and her husband, Bob have been married for over 30 years. He is a veterinarian, golfer, hunter and fisherman. They have two married sons, and five grandchildren. Jayne is an animal lover and has three female Deutsch Drahthaar hunting dogs.

With more than three decades of experience, Todd Guerin has dedicated his professional life to helping clients achieve success. Todd is a graduate of Louisiana State University, and passed the CPA exam in 1986. Additionally, he has served as Principal of Centura Advisors.
As an active member of several professional organizations, Todd enjoys networking and sharing ideas with colleagues. Todd is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Louisiana CPA Society, the Academy of Dental CPAs, and the AICPA Personal Financial Planning Section.
Todd is committed to delivering tax and financial services that meet each client’s unique objectives. His primary focus is small to medium sized businesses, and an emphasis on dental and medical professionals.
Todd and his wife have two children. He is a member of St. Jude’s Catholic Church, and enjoys golfing, playing tennis, and water sports.

Jude Guerin chose a career as an accountant because he enjoys playing a role in helping clients start, build, and grow their businesses. Jude earned his undergraduate and Master’s of Business Administration degrees from LSU. Jude continued his education by obtaining his license as a qualified CPA.
With more than 15 years of experience, Jude has found that the key to a successful client relationship is responsiveness. He is quick to respond to client requests with an answer or a helpful resource to reach a solution.
Jude is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants and the Academy of Dental CPAs. He volunteers his time by serving as a board member of the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank since 2016. Additionally, he is a member of St. Jude’s Catholic Church.
Outside of the office, Jude enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. His hobbies include running, playing tennis, and enjoying the company of friends and family.

Robby has always had an interest in business. When he was a teenager, Robby operated a lawn service with more than 25 clients. He earned his undergraduate degree in accounting from Louisiana State University in 2010, and completed his Master of Science degree in accounting in 2011, before sitting for the CPA exam.
Robby is an active member of several organizations including the Redstick Leadership Network, the Alumni Advisory Board of Sigma Nu Fraternity, and on the Board of Directors of the ADCPA, where he enjoys networking with other business professionals. He loves finding opportunities for clients to increase profits by minimizing tax burdens. Most importantly, Robby enjoys building long-term relationships with clients and helping them reach their goals.
Robby is a Baton Rouge native and graduate of Catholic High School. He enjoys golfing, watching sports, hunting, and spending quality time with his wife Jessica and their children Austin & Audrey.

The ability to work with a wide range of clients is what Cynthia finds most fulfilling in her role as manager. Cynthia earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Louisiana State University, and then successfully passed the CPA exam.
With more than 30 years of experience, Cynthia is also a member of the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of CPAs.
Cynthia is married and has two children. Outside of work, she enjoys attending concerts, traveling, and volunteering at the local food pantry.

What makes Alice an exceptional CPA is her love of working with numbers. Alice earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University. After completing her undergraduate studies, she pursued additional accounting courses at Tulane University in New Orleans in preparation for the CPA exam.
Whether it is day or night, Alice is here to help. She believes in providing excellent financial service to clients without responding with “no.” Whenever a client needs her, Alice is ready to jump in.
Alice has been married to her husband, a dentist, for 34 years. They have two married children and three grand dogs.

With more than two decades of experience, Becky enjoys working with a wide variety of different clients and businesses to help them reach financial success. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants.
Becky is married and has two children. She enjoys spending time with family and friends outside of work.

For more than 20 years, Carla has been helping clients keep accurate and meaningful financial data for business growth. Carla earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Management Administration from Louisiana State University. After college, she furthered her studies and completed the CPA exam.
Carla is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants. She pursued a career in accounting because she was always good with numbers and enjoyed the flexible nature of the job, which allowed her to work while raising a family.
Her philosophy is to provide personal attention and address each client’s needs. Carla is excellent at being able to clearly communicate and explain financial information in a manner clients can understand.
Outside of work, Carla has two children, loves traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Toni has been helping clients with their financials and taxes for more than 30 years. Her favorite part of her job is helping clients have a clear understanding of their business’ financial standing and related tax issues. Toni earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University. After college, she obtained her CPA license.
Outside of the office, Toni enjoys spending time with her husband, three children and their significant others, and granddaughter.
Tanya C. Stephens, CPA
For over 20 years Tanya has been helping clients customize their plans and find opportunities for them to meet their individual and/or company goals. SHe enjoys meeting clients from so many diverse backgrounds and industries and believes that no two clients are exactly the same. She is recognized by the LCPA and AICPA.
Outside of work, Tanya is married and has two sons. She enjoys spending as much time as she can with family, working out, being outdoors, and traveling.
Cortni Melancon, CPA
Cortni Melancon chose a career in accounting to help businesses and individuals understand their tax issues and meet their tailored financial goals. She earned an undergraduate degree in Finance and a Masters in Accounting from Louisiana State University. She passed the CPA exam in 2011 shortly after beginning her tax accounting career at KPMG. She joined Apple Guerin after gaining over 10 years of public accounting experience at KPMG.
Cortni specializes in individual tax and small to mid-size businesses. Her philosophy is to be responsive, be proactive, and listen so that you can truly understand the issues that a client may be facing.
Cortni and her husband Greg are both natives of Baton Rouge. Her greatest joy is spending time with her husband, two children, Madelyn and Luke, and their dog Beaux. She also enjoys teaching Sunday school at Jefferson Baptist Church and coaching T-ball!
Wesley M. Ulrich, Accountant
Wesley received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of New Orleans in 2002. He chose accounting to help business owners achieve their personal and business financial goals. Wesley is committed to bringing a variety off options through continual learning and personal attention to each client’s needs.
Wesley is currently the Treasurer of the Baton Rouge Rotary Club, President of the St. Jude Men’s Club, Vice-President of the St. Jude the Apostle School Advisory Committee, and a core committee chairperson of the Sr. Jude Fair. He and his wife, Kari, enjoy fishing, hunting, and LSU tailgating alongside their two children.
Christian Frey, CPA
Christian earned both his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Minor in Personal Investing from Louisiana State University in 2019. He chose a career in accounting because he always enjoyed working with numbers. His philosophy is to always be responsive and to treat each client like family. Christian furthered his education by completing the CPA exam in 2021.
Christian is a Baton Rouge native and graduate of St. Michael High School. Outside the office he enjoys exercising, watching football and spending time with his family and his Golden Retriever.
Lindsey Gauthier, Front Office Manager
Lindsey enjoys meeting new people and loves making every client feel cared for and welcomed. She graduated from LSU with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Human Movement Science.
Lindsey a Baton Rouge native and graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy. She is married with four children and a lovable chocolate lab.
Abby Genre, Accountant
Abby earned her undergraduate degree in accounting from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2022, and completed her Master of Science degree in accounting from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2023. Abby is currently studying to obtain her CPA license.
Abby is a Port Allen native and graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy. Outside of work, Abby enjoys playing beach volleyball, attending LSU sporting events, and spending time with her friends and family.
